I saved my lilies!!!


got dis bouquet on Thursday... just thought that it's too pretty to not share with anyone... oh and it's my favorite casablanca lilies! *happy like siao!* here's a tip to all those who receives bouquets, mine nearly died-ed without blooming cos the florist didnt out enough water in the cotton wool, Day 3 came and i realised the flowers looked a tad too dry, and it shd have bloomed by then, so i decided to unwrap the pretty purple/lavender paper it came in... and tada! the cotton wool wrapping the stems was nearly dry.

so operation "save my flowers" started! quickly removed the cotton wool, trim the tips of the flowers, find a nice vase n fill 1/4 of it with water n lotsa ice.

on Day 4 i find this!
